The Moth London GrandSLAM Championship

Be the judge of your local yarn-spinners’ tales – it’s the crowd that crowns the winners at storytelling juggernaut The Moth’s championship event, GrandSLAM.

The Moth StorySLAM is an open-mic storytelling competition in which anyone can share a true, personal, five-minute story on that night’s theme. Themes can range from ‘family matters’ or ‘that’s a wrap!’ to ‘good vibrations’.

Ten UK locals – and former winners from the monthly London StorySLAMs hosted at RichMix – share new stories in competition at the Moth GrandSLAM at the Southbank Centre’s Queen Elizabeth Hall.

Listen to stories of terrifying risks, regrettable decisions and once-in-a-lifetime moments. The crowd judges each storyteller, and ultimately crowns the London GrandSLAM champions.
