Name a seat

Take your place in one of our iconic auditoriums for more than just one night

For over 70 years, we’ve hosted sensational performances by the best artists in the world here at the Southbank Centre. But we also know the most important moments don’t always happen on stage.

From first dates to anniversaries, reunions to iconic encounters, our three halls have been the setting for life-changing experiences for thousands of people like you.

Why not commemorate your special memories by naming a seat?

By personalising a seat you’ll be giving vital support to the Southbank Centre, helping ensure that the venues you love remain the backdrop to many more memorable moments, for millions to come.

Choose your seat

You can name a seat in any of our three auditoriums.

Key things to know when you name a seat

  • In the Royal Festival Hall, there is a character limit of 50, including spaces.
  • In the Queen Elizabeth Hall and Purcell Room, there is a character limit of 115, including spaces.
  • Plaques are in place for ten years – we’ll then ask if you’d like to renew via email.
  • Naming a seat is a charitable donation. It does not include admission to individual performances or events, and it does not guarantee allocation of that seat when booking tickets.
  • We hold a number of open mornings each year with the chance to visit your seat while the auditorium is closed to the public. We will be in touch throughout the year, via email, to notify you of dates.
