Stereolab

+ Mombojó

See one of the most innovative and original bands of the 1990s live in concert, with music influenced by everything from krautrock to 1960s French pop.

Stereolab are an Anglo-French avant-pop band formed in London in 1990, and led by the songwriting team of Tim Gane and Lætitia Sadier.

Hailed as one of ‘the decade’s most innovative British bands’ by Mark Jenkins of The Washington Post in 1998, Stereolab’s music combines a droning rock sound with lounge instrumentals, overlaid with sing-song female vocals and pop melodies, and has also made use of unorthodox time signatures.
