SIPHO.: Yearn

Love, longing and passion are the centerpiece to this performance from singer-songwriter SIPHO., a rising voice in R&B.

Yearn: to have an intense feeling of longing for something, typically something that one has lost or been separated from.

SIPHO. is known for his rousing vocals and melodies shaped by an eclectic musical palette that ranges through rock, soul and beyond. Produced by The Blues Project, the UK’s leading platform for R&B and soul, he performs a medley rooted in the vulnerability, yearning and authentic masculinity often missing from today’s musical landscape and cultural discourse.

Championed by COLORS, Jools Holland, BBC Radio 1, NPR, The Fader, Complex and more, SIPHO. brings his refreshingly powerful voice and message to the stage.

Part of New Music Biennial, this event includes two performances of the same work and a short interview with the creative team in between the two, enabling audiences to experience the second performance with greater insight into the creative process.
