Unleash your creativity in this immersive three-hour weekend poetry workshop, and hone your skills under the guidance of leading poet Laurie Bolger.

Out-Spoken‘s poetry masterclass is a monthly workshop led by top international poets. The class is open to members of the public of all ages and abilities – from beginners to the more advanced.

Anyone with an interest in poetry is welcome to take the chance to work with the country’s most revered writers’ while learning some of their methods and approaches to crafting beautiful and original poetry.

Laurie Bolger is a London-based writer and founder of The Creative Writing Breakfast Club. Bolger’s writing has been shortlisted for The Bridport and Sylvia Plath Prizes; her poem ‘Parkland Walk’ won The Moth Poetry Prize.

Bolger’s publications include Box Rooms, Makeover, Spin and her debut collection, Lady, exploring girlhood and celebrating her working-class Irish heritage. Poet and author Hollie McNish says of Bolger’s work, ‘If I could jump inside her poems I would… I imagine it’d be lovely and warm in there.’

Poet Andrew McMillan calls her poetry ‘Dazzling, moving, witty and insightful’.
