Hear from Window to the Spirits and Fighting Fit, collectives of spoken word artists with amazing stories who have overcome and survived debilitating health challenges.
Hear from The Bethlem Performance Collective who were established in 2023 at the Bethlem Gallery & Museum of the Mind. The collective is a group of ex-service users and ex-residents of the Bethlem Psychiatric Hospital, who attend the weekly patient-led writing and creative groups at the gallery.
Creative Clinic is a doctor-led voluntary organisation whose aims are to champion creativity as a wellbeing tool for doctors and medical students. They run artist-led creative workshops and educational talks about health and creativity. During this event they present a video collection of poems from their community of medic poets, in response to the theme ‘Beyond the Bedside.’
