OAE TOTS: Sailing Away

Who knows where we might end up!

It’s all hearty voices and stamping feet on deck to enjoy the rhythms and melodies of classical music in this interactive concert for intrepid sailors between the ages of two and five and their grown-up deckhands*.

Sit up close to orchestral musicians and their wonderful – and occasionally weird – instruments, as they play music by Lully, Handel, Haydn and others.

It’s the concert that leaves audiences asking ‘Can I come next time?’

Age guidance

For ages 2 – 5. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Event information

All adults and children need a ticket, except for babes in arms aged 18 months and under at the time of the performance who don’t need their own seat. Under-12s must be seated next to an accompanying adult.

The Royal Festival Hall is home to our largest auditorium as well as The Clore Ballroom, National Poetry Library, Members’ Lounge, Festival Bar & Kitchen, Ballroom Cafe and Skylon restaurant.

Please note that we’re unable to accept cash payments across our venues.

We’re working hard to remove barriers, so that our facilities and events can be accessible to as many people as possible.

On Level 2 of our Royal Festival Hall you can grab a slice of life by the Thames with drinks and freshly made pizza at our Festival Bar & Kitchen which opens out onto our Riverside Terrace. You can grab a coffee and a slice of freshly made cake from our Ballroom Cafe. Or alternatively enjoy destination dining in the restaurant at Skylon.
