Neoprene Genie: Twice Bitten
Jump into an immersive, atmospheric evening of creative discovery, featuring trailblazing artists from across music, poetry and sound design.
Neoprene Genie is the interdisciplinary discovery vehicle run by artist and author Tice Cin, who creatively directs this show asking how we respond, make choices and evolve from life’s harshness.
This edition fuses poetry with song and sound design from Ikonika, Tice Cin and KEMANCI, with live performance from artists including BUKKY, BODUR, DEJA, Chantel Foo, Asmaa Jama (ex situ), Meron T and XT1ANA.
With live VJing and art by Kareem Parkins-Brown and Misbah, and voice acting and sonic ephemera from Azadi MP3 (ex situ).

This event is held at the Purcell Room Southbank Centre
The Purcell Room is located in the Queen Elizabeth Hall, which is open from 90 minutes before events start until they finish. It’s closed at all other times.

We’re working hard to remove barriers, so that our facilities and events can be accessible to as many people as possible.
