Mini SPIN
Join us at an energetic, immersive dance performance and interactive rave experience designed especially for children and families.
Guided by three Deaf hosts and a live DJ, this performance invites audiences of all ages to move, dance and connect together in a vibrant, inclusive celebration of rhythm, ritual and joy.
Blending the spirit of club culture with playful performance-making, Mini SPIN transforms the stage into an intergenerational and participatory dance event where every audience member becomes part of the show with no dance experience needed!
This family-friendly performance is a dynamic and joyful exploration of connection, community and creative play showing that children, alongside their carers, families and friends, can truly be the best ravers!
Need to know
This is a guided dance event. No dance experience is necessary, and all are welcome.
All adults and children need a ticket, except for babes in arms aged 18 months and under at the time of the performance who don’t need their own seat. Under-12s must be seated next to an accompanying adult.
There is a visual story available for audience members who may benefit from preparing for the performance. View visual story >

Access
Imagine is a Relaxed festival and this event is a Relaxed Performance (RP). Relaxed Performances have a relaxed approach to noise and movement in the space, and you are free to leave and re-enter during the performance. A chill-out space and noise-cancelling headphones are available for both adults and children. There are no adjustments to sound and lighting for these performances and this performance contains amplified sound and moving lights.
This event contains highly visual content, including some BSL. While this is a fully standing, moving experience, it can be accessible for wheelchair users, people with physical impairments and blind people or people with low vision (and their guide dogs). The Deaf hosts will adapt as necessary.
You can join our free Access Scheme through your online Southbank Centre account or via email.
