MEGA
With a big voice, big heart and big songs that explore vulnerability, self-realisation and empowerment, the vocalist and songwriter is here to make her mark.
It’s all in the name: those who have seen MEGA, aka Megaishername, live understand. ‘It’s rare an artist can connect on a deeper, spiritual level but for MEGA, this power comes as naturally as breathing’ says The Independent, which named her one of their ‘Ones to Watch’ last year.
Starting out in the same gospel choir at St Mary’s youth club that Little Simz cut her teeth in, MEGA has honed her powerful voice into a major talent.
Born in South Korea to Nigerian parents and raised in Ireland, rising star Jon Poppii has a truly global perspective that informs his music. His music is charged with heartfelt lyricism and showcases his signature fusion of soul, R&B and contemporary pop influences. His authentic storytelling and emotive vocal delivery earned him a spot supporting Rag’n’Bone Man on his UK tour in 2024, and an invitation to perform at BBC Introducing Live.
