Come along and meet Aurora Orchestra’s instruments in a fun and interactive family concert.
Dear families, you are cordially invited to Aurora Orchestra’s street party. Put your festive clothes on – it’s time to sing, dance, play games and discover orchestral instruments. There might even be a chance for you to join the band…
The party is a chance to meet the neighbours: who lives behind which door? What instrument do they play? Find out in a fun, participatory family concert, as Aurora Orchestra and presenter Lucy Drever introduce you to the immersive world of orchestral music.

Need to know
All adults and children need a ticket, except for babes in arms aged 18 months and under at the time of the performance who don’t need their own seat. Under-12s must be seated next to an accompanying adult.
Access
This event is a Relaxed Performance. These performances have a relaxed approach to noise and movement in the space, and you are free to enter and exit during the performances. A chill-out space and noise-cancelling headphones are available for both adults and children. There are no adjustments to sound and lighting for these performances.

This event is held at the Queen Elizabeth Hall Southbank Centre
The Queen Elizabeth Hall is open from 90 minutes before events start until they finish. It’s closed at all other times.

Access
We’re working hard to remove barriers, so that our facilities and events can be accessible to as many people as possible.
All help points, toilets, performance and exhibition spaces at the Southbank Centre are accessible to all, as are the cafes, bars and restaurants. We also have excellent public transport links with step-free access.
