Throughout her 12-year career, including an Ed Sheeran co-sign, supporting Adele and a 2021 Grammy Award nomination, Mahalia’s music has always dealt with the highs and lows of romantic relationships, ruminating on the wrenching grief of a break-up before plunging in headfirst to a beautiful new connection to feel it all again.
After touring for her sophomore album, IRL, she’s stepping into a new era of good vibes and music connecting to the other women in her life. Her new EP, Luvergirl Vol. 1, encapsulates the freedom of self-confidence – and the music encourages her fans to do the same.
MOBO Award-winning singer and songwriter Mnelia, based in north-west London, is a standout force in modern R&B. Born Monique Amelia Gomez to parents from Guinea-Bissau and Gambia, her sound merges soulful vulnerability with contemporary edge anchored by ethereal vocals and emotionally honest storytelling.

On Level 2 of our Royal Festival Hall you can grab a slice of life by the Thames with drinks and freshly made pizza at our Festival Bar & Kitchen which opens out onto our Riverside Terrace. You can grab a coffee and a slice of freshly made cake from our Ballroom Cafe. Or alternatively enjoy destination dining in the restaurant at Skylon.
