LEGO Replay: Imagining New Things
Bring your kids to get creative in a ‘Build the Change’ self-led experience as they use their imaginations to create amazing builds from LEGO bricks.
Did you know that LEGO bricks from over 60 years ago still fit perfectly with bricks from today? They can be passed down through generations, and played with again and again, which is why we want to make sure no brick goes to waste.
Whether building something to help wildlife or combat climate change, or building something new to play with, we believe kids’ limitless creativity has the power to inspire us all.
LEGO Replay is a programme that allows you to donate your pre-loved bricks so the LEGO Group can transform them into opportunities for learning in schools and community centres across the UK.
If you have LEGO bricks you’re no longer using, bring them to the donation point at Southbank Centre throughout May, to inspire the builders of tomorrow!
If you can’t make it to the Southbank Centre in May or have too many bricks to carry, you can still donate your bricks using a free shipping label available on the LEGO Replay website.
The LEGO Group is an official partner to the Southbank Centre families programme.
Need to know
Each child needs a ticket. All children must be accompanied by an adult. No unaccompanied adults are allowed.
This experience is self-led and lasts 15 minutes.
There are facilitators and volunteers in the space to help you make the most out of your experience, but it is up to you how you play in the space, and to make sure you keep yourself and your family group safe while playing.
Access
The first three sessions of the day are Relaxed Sessions with lower capacity. These sessions have a relaxed approach to noise and movement in the space, and you are free to enter and exit during the performances. A chill-out space and noise-cancelling headphones are available for both adults and children. There are no adjustments to sound and lighting for these sessions.
