Kailash Kher & Kailasa Live
Let music take you on a soul-stirring journey as the singer brings his iconic voice and songs inspired by Sufi and Indian folk music to the stage.
With his distinct voice and profound lyrics, Indian singer, composer and music producer Kailash Kher has captivated millions across the globe, both independently and as the lead vocalist of the band Kailasa, which he co-founded in 2004.
Known for his unique blend of Indian classical, folk and Sufi music, Kher gained fame with songs including ‘Teri Deewani’ and ‘Allah Ke Bande’, which became hits in the mid-2000s. His music often incorporates spiritual and soulful elements, drawing inspiration from Indian traditions and modern music. Throughout his career, he has also been involved in several Bollywood soundtracks and live performances, earning accolades for his versatile singing and innovative sound.
Opening this performance, 50 students from the Geetanjali Academy of Fine Arts (GAOFAL) unite under the guidance of founder Jayeeta Ghosh, with artistic direction by Mr Sunil Jadhav and Dr Anjali Tiwari, to present a vibrant medley of Kailash Kher’s compositions. Filled with the rhythms of traditional folk instruments, their performance is a heartfelt tribute to heritage, unity and the spirit of collective expression.
