Jham!

Come and enjoy a playful and energetic collaboration between Indian dancers and musicians that highlights the rhythmic play between the ancient and the modern.

Four musicians – including a traditional Karnatik vocalist, a beatboxer, a violinist and a flautist – perform alongside four Kathak and Bharatanatyam dancers.

This innovative classical Indian production has been conceptualised and created by award-winning choreographer Nina Rajarani MBE, and music composer Yadav Yadavan.

The first performance is followed by a free dance workshop with live music led by members of the company, suitable for different levels of dance ability and experience.

Schedule
2pm – 2.30pm: performance
2.30pm – 3.15pm: free participatory workshop
