James Murphy

Sat 20 Jun 2026, 11pm

One of this century’s key figures in music – and LCD Soundsystem’s iconic founder and lead – takes the party right through the night.

James Murphy is a musician, producer, and the founder of DFA Records. In 2002, James released ‘Losing My Edge’ as the third release on DFA under the moniker LCD Soundsystem, thus launching the Grammy Award-winning band that would go on to headline festivals around the world.

In addition to his work with LCD Soundsystem and DFA, Murphy is a prolific record producer and has worked with David Bowie, Arcade Fire and the Yeah Yeah Yeahs. His DJ sets draw on decades of deep crate-digging.
