Graceland Reimagined: 40-Year Anniversary

The London African Gospel Choir presents their critically acclaimed reimagining of Paul Simon’s iconic Graceland to mark the album’s 40th year.

Performed with passion, soul and electrifying rhythm, this concert harnesses soaring voices, vibrant harmonies and an irresistible celebration of African musical heritage.

In a night of joyful spirit and cultural fusion, the Choir breathes new life into classics like ‘You Can Call Me Al’ and ‘Diamonds on the Soles of Her Shoes’.

Whether you’re a longtime fan of the original album or discovering its magic for the first time, this is a live experience that connects generations and transcends borders.

Move your feet, feel the joy and make memories.

Joining the London African Gospel Choir for this show is Sonti Mndebele.
Mndebele is an Afro jazz singer, songwriter and entertainer. A professional singer since 1974, she went into exile in 1976, living in Botswana and later Germany and London. Despite the challenges of spending over 30 years abroad, her love for music has remained her anchor.

Throughout her career, she’s performed at prestigious venues and festivals, collaborated with South African legends Miriam Makeba and Hugh Masekela, and shared the stage with international icons including Peter Gabriel, Elton John, Lionel Richie, Sade, Paul Simon, Donna Summer, Tina Turner and Stevie Wonder. In 1987, Mndebele performed on Paul Simon’s Graceland tour and later reunited with Simon to celebrate the tour’s 25th anniversary.

Please note that Paul Simon is not a performer in this show.
