George Webster: A Magical Celebration of Difference

Join the author and presenter, and illustrator Tim Budgen, and buckle up for a book event packed with fun and dragon-fuelled mayhem! Hosted by Cerrie Burnell.

From BAFTA-winning TV star, George Webster – CBeebies’ first presenter with Down syndrome – comes a rip-snorting new series for early readers.

Inspired by some of Webster’s own childhood experiences, George and the Mini Dragon is a warm and authentic story that blends school and home life with personal insight.

Embracing differences and inclusion, this event brings together live illustration and Makaton signing for a heart-warming and uplifting celebration of what makes every child unique.

Burnell is an author, actor and ambassador for disability for the BBC best known for her work on CBeebies. She’s written 15 children’s books including Snowflakes, brought a one woman show to the Edinburgh Fringe and appeared in BBC shows.
