Future Artists: Royal Academy of Music
Hear works and arrangements by the brilliant young artists mentored by Resident Artist Sean Shibe through a series of workshops and conversations.
This is the fourth year of an innovative creative partnership between the Southbank Centre and the Royal Academy of Music.
The programme sees our Resident Artists share their unique practice with six selected students, working on how to develop their artistry beyond technique and notation, into a more collaborative and creative sphere.
In tonight’s concert, the students perform material they have composed, curated and refined under the guidance of multi-faceted artist and guitarist Sean Shibe.
Sean Shibe is Southbank Centre Resident Artist for Classical Music: Spring/Summer 2026.
