Dream, Design, Do!
Get ready to unleash your family’s creativity at a day of making, crafting and imagining together, led by artist Christie Swallow.
We have everything you need to build, stitch, and create something amazing. Whether you’re a master crafter or just love to get your hands messy, all are welcome!
Christie Swallow is an artist and designer with a speciality in textile art. Swallow centres inclusion and collaboration, bringing people into their practice through co-creative workshops. They engage with fabric as a medium which touches everyone’s lives, and play with this familiarity to ask broader questions of belonging, identity, and environmentalism.
Swallow has exhibited internationally and delivered creative programmes for the Design Museum, the Fitzwilliam Museum, Royal Geographic Society and Kew Gardens.

Access
Imagine is a Relaxed festival and this event is a Relaxed Performance (RP). Relaxed Performances have a relaxed approach to noise and movement in the space, and you are free to leave and re-enter during the performance. A chill-out space and noise-cancelling headphones are available for both adults and children. There are no adjustments to sound and lighting for these performances and this event has background amplified music, but no flashing or moving lights.
You can join our free Access Scheme through your online Southbank Centre account or via email.
