Creative Encounters: Sketch Social
Come in from the cold for an evening of sketching, contemplation and connection with 2B or Not 2B Collective’s signature life drawing class.
The collective provides a fresh take on what life drawing can be, creating space for you to switch off from the world, playfully practise your drawing skills, and connect with others.
Through a number of guided introductory exercises, we’ll loosen your hands and warm your charcoal, before diving into some longer-form sketch opportunities with the collective’s superb models.
Creative Encounters is your creative space in the heart of the city, bringing together Londoners old and new for art, making and conversation.
Materials are provided, but you are also welcome to bring your own.
2B Or Not 2B Collective are a POC-run drawing group that focuses on uplifting and increasing the exposure of marginalised and underrepresented tutors and models within the art industry through their welcoming creative workshops. They are based in London but also stream to an international audience, and have one of the largest drawing reference libraries of diverse life models.
Our friendly sessions are designed for both those attending on their own or with others; there are opportunities to socialise and take part in activities together, but you are also very welcome to have a solo experience.
