At Your Own Pace

Inspired by London’s youth clubs, move through a day of DJs, craft, games and performances curated by young creatives – all at your own pace.

Hosted by Izzy Withers and Stems by Mar!k, the event flows in the spirit of London’s youth clubs, offering activities that invite you to be playful, to experiment and to create.

This event is produced entirely by a one-off cohort of young creatives from across London, stepping into the spotlight as producers, curators and cultural changemakers.

Schedule
2pm – 4pm: the prelude
Create your own album artwork, inspired by Little Simz’ iconic aesthetic and visual imagery. Led by Beth Suzanna, a London-based illustrator whose uplifting work is rooted in colour and connection, audiences are invited to create their own record sleeve using collage. Or start off your day playing chess or learning the game together with Knight Club.

Soundtracking the prelude is Blue Ringed Baby, a London-based curator and producer blending ambient jungle, Brazilian rhythms and jazz fusion.

5pm – 7pm: the interlude
Ignite your creativity and tap into your inner child as we go head to head in team games. From ‘guess the lyric’ battles to trivia questions and spontaneous song performances, each round offers a fresh opportunity to shine and have fun – not to mention prizes to be won!

8pm – 10.30pm: the outro
Immerse yourself in an intimate supporting set by Essence Martins, whose ethereal voice and introspective songwriting blend indie-folk, pop, and soul. And then, be captivated by a headline set from London’s own R&B songstress, Shaé Universe.

About the artists
Ambient jazz meets the raw energy of UK jungle for Blue Ringed Baby, the London-based producer, DJ and visual artist.

East-London-born Marik Erskine is a multi-talented multi-instrumentalist, and founder of Stems by Mar!k, an immersive live studio experience where producers, artists, and a live band come together to create songs on the spot.

Essence Martins’ music is a unique blend of indie-folk, pop and soul, showcased through her ethereal voice and poignant songwriting, which serves as a powerful form of self-expression and escapism.

An artist who can both sing and rap, Shaé Universe has made waves in the UK, West Africa and beyond, and has been co-signed by the likes of Lalah Hathaway, Jorja Smith and Little Simz.

Izzy Withers’ unique blend of neo/contemporary soul with a pop influence draws comparisons to artists like Corinne Bailey Rae, Olivia Dean and Lily Allen, and spoken word is a feature of her music.

Knight Club is a weekly chess-led social offering a calm, intentional break from the chaos of nightlife and the mundanity of the week. Chess is the medium but community is the heartbeat, with members shaping the vibe through curated playlists, shared meals and one-off events.
