This event has passed

Told through music, dance, puppetry and traditional African storytelling, this joy-filled, uplifting show brings the much-loved children’s book, about a young girl named Anna Hibiscus, to life.

Anna Hibiscus lives in amazing Africa. Ibadan, Nigeria to be exact. She’s so filled with happiness that she feels like she might float away. And the more she talks to her family about it, the more her happiness grows! There’s only one thing to do… sing!

A Utopia Theatre and Sheffield Theatres Production.

Adapted for the stage and directed by Mojisola Kareem from the book Anna Hibiscus’ Song by Atinuke and Lauren Tobia, arranged by permission from Walker Books Ltd.
