An Evening with David Sedaris

Tue 7 Jul – Thu 9 Jul 2026

One of America’s most celebrated satirists and humour writers shares new and unpublished stories, takes questions and meets his audience.

Through his essays, diaries and hugely popular BBC Radio series, Sedaris has made us consider the absurdities of human nature and modern life: family, travel, relationships, aging, the pandemic, political upheavals and, of course, roadside rubbish!

By turns misanthropic and poignant, Sedaris deploys his precise prose and keen observational skills to make you laugh, think and sometimes be deeply moved.

Beloved for his personal essays and short stories, David Sedaris is the author of the New York Times bestsellers Barrel Fever, Holidays on Ice, Me Talk Pretty One Day and Calypso, among others. His pieces regularly appear in The New Yorker and have twice been included in The Best American Essays anthology.
