Alphabet Soup

Get stuck into family workshops and activities to create poems and stories celebrating our shared and diverse language of food, with A Line Art.

Join us in The Clore Ballroom this October half-term to be part of an evolving art installation for all the family, created by A Line Art.

Drop in to our interactive workshops and activities to create truly delicious poems and stories.

Discover the names of both real and imaginary foods, encounter ludicrous words you’d never expect in a cookbook, find descriptive words to engage the senses, and together cook up a literary storm!

A Line Art are artist Anna Bruder and poet Arji Manuelpillai. Together and with other collaborators they create immersive theatre performances and art events for children, young people and their families.

Alphabet Soup is a Southbank Centre original commission.
