A Small Anatomy

Come on an adventure filled with dance and live music, as we explore all the ways that bodies move, and how every body is different.

This event has passed

My arms are longer than yours, so I can touch you from further away. Your mouth is the largest, you can fit a whole sandwich in it!

Together we discover that every body is different: sometimes our bodies fit together perfectly; sometimes there’s a big toe in the way…

And bodies don’t always behave: feet fly off the floor, thumbs dance in all directions and the performers climb on each other’s shoulders, while the voice joins in with singing, growling, sneezing and talking.

De Dansers is an Utrecht-based company of dancers and musicians, led by choreographer and dancer Josephine van Rheenen and composer and musician Guy Corneille. They make work that appeals to the liveliness of children and that re-invokes forgotten desires for surrender and physical contact in adults.
