A lounge on the top floor of the Royal Festival Hall, perfect for pre-show tipples with knockout views.
Settle in with a good book, chat about the event you’re attending, grab a drink or a bite to eat, or just soak up the buzz of the Southbank Centre – it’s a sanctuary in the centre of London.

Guests in the Members’ Lounge
You are always welcome to bring one guest to the Members’ Lounge, with no booking required. If you book in advance you can bring up to two guests at a time. When booking online, you must select the amount of guests joining you.

Closed on Mondays.
Open Tuesday – Sunday, 10am – 10pm
Kitchen open 10am – 9pm.

Level 6 of the Royal Festival Hall. Enter via the Green Side.

Members’ Lounge FAQs
Food cannot be brought into the Members’ Lounge, but we do have plenty of food and drink available from our catering partners Company of Cooks, which is exclusive to the Members’ Lounge.
As we reduce the use of plastic, we’re encouraging you to access your Membership digitally using your phone. You can do this by logging onto your Southbank Centre account and clicking ‘Your Membership’. Just show this screen to our Visitor Assistants at the entrance of the Members’ Lounge and the Hayward Gallery.
You can also use this page to access your discounts when shopping in Southbank Centre shops, at our food market and in restaurants on-site.
As with anywhere else in our buildings and venues, please do not leave your personal belongings unattended. Any items left unattended may be removed.

Tuesday – Sunday, 10am – 11pm
Monday, closed.

The Royal Festival Hall is home to our largest auditorium as well as The Clore Ballroom, National Poetry Library, Members’ Lounge, Festival Bar & Kitchen, Ballroom Cafe and Skylon restaurant.

The nearest tube stations to us are Waterloo and Embankment; Waterloo is also the nearest train station. And more than 20 different London bus routes pass within 500 metres of our venues. More information on getting here by rail, road or river is available on our Getting here page.

Please note that we’re unable to accept cash payments across our venues.
Access
We’re working hard to remove barriers, so that our facilities and events can be accessible to as many people as possible.
All help points, toilets, performance and exhibition spaces at the Southbank Centre are accessible to all, as are the cafes, bars and restaurants. We also have excellent public transport links with step-free access.

Food & drink
On Level 2 of our Royal Festival Hall you can grab a slice of life by the Thames with drinks and freshly made pizza at our Festival Bar & Kitchen which opens out onto our Riverside Terrace. You can grab a coffee and a slice of freshly made cake from our Ballroom Cafe. Or alternatively enjoy destination dining in the restaurant at Skylon.
From coffee to cocktails, filling favourites to fine dining, plus some of London’s best street food – it’s all here at the Southbank Centre.
