The LEGO Group
Partnering to unleash children’s creativity and spark ideas about recycling and circularity
In 2025 we welcome the LEGO Group as an official partner of our families programme. The partnership brings together two organisations with a shared vision to inspire and empower the next generation of creative thinkers and problem solvers.
The LEGO Group’s mission to inspire the builders of tomorrow aligns seamlessly with our own view of the Southbank Centre as a hub for cultural exploration and innovation.
LEGO Replay
As part of an ongoing commitment to cultivating conversations about the environment and circularity, we’re proud to be working with LEGO Replay.
Driven by a belief that every brick holds a spark of magic that ignites creativity and endless possibilities, LEGO Replay transforms pre-loved bricks into items that support learning through play, in schools and community centres. The initiative partners with an incredible donation network to ensure LEGO® Bricks go on a new adventure to help more kids to build, dream, and explore new worlds.
During May 2025 a LEGO Replay donation station will be in situ on Level 1 of our Royal Festival Hall, and as part of our Spring Family Fun programming we host two days of activities with LEGO Replay and Build the Change on 27 and 28 May. These activities return again in August 2025.

LEGO She Built That
As part of an ongoing commitment to championing creativity and empowering the next generation of builders, we’re proud to host She Built That: LEGO Dance Workshops – a new initiative from The LEGO Group that celebrates the limitless imagination and creativity of girls.
Rooted in the belief that building isn’t just about bricks, but about confidence, self-expression and play, She Built That invites children to take part in dance and building workshops inspired by a reimagined version of Run-D.M.C.’s iconic track ‘It’s Like That’. The song forms the soundtrack to a vibrant new music video featuring young participants showcasing their creativity through movement – and some of the weekend’s dancers could feature in it.
Across the Southbank Centre, families can also enjoy the LEGO Friends Paw-some Summer Party pop-up on the Queen’s Walk, with free activities including crafts, hair styling and photo booths.
The two-day event takes place as part of our Dance Your Way Home programme, with special appearances from influencers including Brooke and Jessie, Trend Kids, Starr Kiely and Laurie Elle.
The LEGO Group is an official partner of the Southbank Centre’s families programme.
