A cocktail hut and garden next to the River Thames at dusk

The Thirsty Farrier

Crowd round for cocktails mixed in a vintage horsebox bar

Grab a riverside spot to sample rejigged classics like the spicy margarita, and pineapple paloma.

Brothers and founders Jon and Dan have always been passionate about cocktails. This passion developed during a number of fun city trips together, with memories involving espresso martini crawls to find the best version in every city.

Now they’re bringing their finds Thameside on a menu of summertime classics – including Pimms, Aperol Spritz and Pina Coladas – alongside new, but equally irresistible creations.

Come for the drinks, stay for the music as throughout summer The Thirsty Farrier hosts relaxed sunset sessions featuring live performances by solo saxophonists and upcoming acoustic artists.

Putting an emphasis on sustainability, The Thirsty Farrier’s bars were rescued from rotting in a field, and they’ve chosen a selection of suppliers who match up to their standards. Plus, left-over fruit from the cocktails never goes to waste – it’s fed to the ducks and chickens on the family farm.
