New Music Biennial
A free festival showcasing some of the best new music being composed in the UK
Every other year we invite you to take a deep dive with us behind the scenes of music across all genres, as composers share and discuss their new works at New Music Biennial.
For one summer weekend this festival takes over the buildings of the Southbank Centre, with tens of new works presented and performed; all for free.
The most recent edition of New Music Biennial, in July 2025, was presented through a partnership by PRS Foundation, Southbank Centre, Bradford 2025 UK City of Culture, BBC Radio 3, and NMC Recordings.
