Júlia Alcañiz is an Italian-Catalan writer. She obtained an MA in Screenwriting from London College of Communication, since which she has been working with words as much as she can, whether through writing poetry, screenplays and short fiction, editing scripts or translating. 

In 2024, she was longlisted for The London Magazine Poetry Prize and placed second in the London Poetry Competition.
