Alison Mosshart

A singer, songwriter and artist, Mosshart is the lead vocalist of The Kills and The Dead Weather. Formed in 2002, The Kills, consisting of Mosshart on vocals and Jamie Hince on guitar, have tallied hundreds of millions of streams across six albums and five EPs, and just recently finished their latest God Games Tour in support of their 2023 album.

For the blues-punk foursome The Dead Weather, made up of Mosshart, Jack White, Dean Fertita and Jack Lawrence, Mosshart provides the group’s fiery vocals. Over the years, Mosshart has collaborated with numerous artists including Jack White, Arctic Monkeys, Primal Scream and Foo Fighters. In addition to her music, Alison is a visual artist who’s put on shows at galleries across the world. In 2020, she became a published author with her poetry and art book CAR MA released via Third Man Books.
